Everything on the other computer is way better than this, except this MSXML 4.0 that won't work. Anybody know how I could open this MSXML 4.0 program so that my AOM could run? (It runs on my "small comp", 450 MHZ P", 128 megs of ram, 16 meg ATI graphic card, Windows 98. ES is providing them with great games, it is in their interest that those games work properly otherwise the sales will slow down much faster than they expect. It is very bad because all this might kill this wonderful game. And this is quite sad as ES are just making wonderful games.).ĪOM might be the best PC game ever, but it is also the one that is stuck with the largest number of problems (It just don't install for some people, just don't run for others, and when it runs, it just keep freezing for some while others have no problems until they go to play multiplayer on ESO and then with 4+ players in a game the trouble starts. ES are stuck with MS and it is probably just too bad for the customers. This MSXML 4.0 is a Microsoft program (MS is becoming such a tentacular business that no one can run any of their programs if they dont have the necessary 1847 different MS programs and subprograms that are required.
Is the problem so difficult that nobody can answer? May be the problem is just that and someone can tell me what I should use inside Windows XP to run MSXML 4.0 properly. That is a problem because I have windows XP and I just can't find Windows Installer on it (neither 2.0, nor any installer at all). I can't download it because the different versions available on the web apply to other versions of Windows OS (1998, 2000, NT. įorgot to say : Windows Installer 2.0 should open MSXML 4.0 (according to some info on the download page).
